Camber Plates

These camber plates were designed by Scott when he saw a lack in the market for a sturdy plate that simply adjusted camber without the awkward fixing mechanism that bent and warped when slightly over-tightened like some of the popular brands on the market at the time.

The upgrade option was considered when issues started arising from people using any brand of camber top needing to replace the pillow ball bearing regularly after reporting steering that was grinding and stiff. It's no small wonder, since pillow balls aren't designed to be taking the full rotating and twising motion it was being subjected to. So the thrust bearing was introduced to take care of the twisting motion, leaving the pillow-ball to do the tilting (which is what it was designed for). This greatly extended the life of the pillow ball bearing, while giving an added bonus of lighter steering.

These will fit all Datsuns, R30, R31, 300ZX, S12 Gazelle, VL Commodore, 910 Bluebird with some mods and probably stacks more, but we haven't checked it out.
