Scott Aho
is the Big Cheese at Mad Dat, and lives and breathes cars. He has been designing and manufacturing custom parts for most of his life and is the senior fabricator at Mad Dat Motorsport. Scott has great skill in design, machining, welding and fabrication and is also a very poor excuse for an office Biatch.

Scott is also the Vice President of the Nissan Datsun Car Club of South Australia and is very active as a racer and crew member for various race teams and assists with pre-track set ups, track day testing and race weekend track support.

Paul Tomkinson is our head mechanic and our guru for all thinks technical, he has a vast history in the Automotive world and has worked for over 22 year in the industry.

Paul has a eye for detail and great pride in his work, so whether you are looking for a simple log book service, general automotive repairs or race car manufacture, Paul has the experience to get the job done.

Mad Dat also supports local events and the NDCC through sponsorship and also a few cars which are used as a test bed for our new products before releasing for sale.

Scott has always provided a top quality job and parts for my race car. When you're 100% committed on the track, you need to be completely confident in what you are driving to get the best lap times. I always hit Scott with projects and he takes my ideas, improves them and produces custom fabricated reliable products. Also many of my parts are the same products off the shelf that are supplied for street use, highlighting the level of quality of parts you can buy for your project streeter.

I previously had a L series fitted in my Datsun 1600 and wanted to convert to a recently purchased SR20DE Autech. I approached Scott at Maddat and he was super professional and helpful. I took my car to his workshop and picked it up ready to go - the fitting is really neat and everything fits really well. I am really happy and will be getting him to modify my rear suspension and diff next.
