The Ultimate Datto Strut
The Stanza/200B strut is used and recommended for all of our suspension upgrades, and all our brake kits are designed to bolt onto these struts.
When developing the strut, many different options were considered including 120Y, R31 or 240K struts. 120Y struts have a small stub axel and small diameter main tube which limits the insert choice available (ie none!), 240K struts are too hard to find and R31 struts aren't bad but the stub axel angle isn't right for most datsuns and will increase your wheel track and require high offset wheels. In some instances the R31 strut will require a different wheel offset front to rear which limits your wheel choice and the ability to rotate front to rear, or you will need to use illegal spacer plates.
With all this considered, the Stanza/200B strut won hands down. It has a large stub axel, 51mm main tube and correct stub axel angle.
The only modification we needed to do to this strut was shorten and re-thread it. This enables us to run a shorter, firmer insert and have the choice of KYB, Koni or Billstein
These struts will bolt directly into Sunny, Stanza, 200B, 1600, 180B & 240K and more with no modifications necessary. They will go into 1200 and 120Y with the use of part number RFEK1200 (Re-built Front End Kit). |

Strut Options
We have listed for sale the URCP and the FSA200B but we can also mix and match the options for these. For example maybe you want camber adjusters but not the adjustable ride height, or different spring rate. Maybe you want the coilovers anodised bright green! Just ask us for a quote. We can also manufacture this kit using a different strut eg 1600, 240k, 180B, R31 if you already have brakes designed to fit those struts and don't want to part with them. We cannot put coilovers on 120Y or 1200 struts as our sleeve is the wrong size. This may be an option in the future, so please register your interest.
